What did they win?

A shambolic endeavour lead by charlatans, cheered on by the conned.

Before lockdown I had begun a project immigration in response to Brexit. I interviewed people who had come from overseas and made their home here in the UK. Teachers, campaingers, film-makers, musicians, chefs. people from many walks of life with much to contribute and much to say. The intention was to hold an exhibition to display their portraits along side their own words but covid-19 has put pay to that for the time being. I hope it can be returned to but in the meantime, I will post some work from the project alongside related images.

First, to remind us of the climate at that time I am sharing images from the Brexit night celebrations in Parliament Square, January 31st of this year. These are my lasting memories of the event.
